PRESTON, MD – Brenan Roser has joined A.W. Sisk & Son, Inc. as a National Accounts Executive. He will be instrumental in the growth of current business as well as the development of new accounts.
A.W. Sisk & Son, established in 1891, is the second oldest continuously operating business in Caroline County and has a long-standing reputation in the community for being a financially stable company with decades of experience in marketing, inventory control and price management, helping manufacturers, both large and small realize their products full potential in the marketplace. Roser is intent on providing a value-added service. He hopes to use his experience, along with Sisk’s, to expand into a wide range of categories.
“We were looking for an aggressive manufacturers representative to help expand this part of the operation,” said Al Turner, President and CEO of A.W. Sisk & Son. “We wanted someone who could bring their knowledge of the industry and put it to work for Sisk. We are happy we found Brenan.”
It has been over 100 years since A.W. Sisk & Son introduced such recognizable labels as Red-Glo, Pine Cone, Little Darling and Pride of the Farm, all of which are still viable brands today. In addition to produce, A.W. Sisk & Son has had extensive experience with private-label products such as milk, dairy and bakery products, beverages, snacks and various kinds of general merchandise.
An Easton native, Brenan Roser is no stranger to working with manufacturers and suppliers. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at Hampden Sydney College and worked for ten years in sales for Perdue, one of the largest manufacturers on the Delmarva Peninsula. Most recently, he owned his own business in Easton, a position that required working closely with both suppliers and manufacturers on a daily basis.
